Zara McCord is an Indiana Hoosier by birth, and a New York - Brooklynite by choice. After graduating from Ball State University (‘23) with a degree in Acting, she has been living her actress dreams as a Rockstar Sim for XBox, a waitress for Opill and Samsung commercials, and a woke niece/daughter in a sketch with Leslie Jones for The Daily Show. She has several short film projects on her resume including, "just a girl” which premiered at New York Film festival in 2025 and a film adaptation of the short story, “The Yellow Wallpaper.” She enjoys collaborating with new work in the indie theatre sphere with recent projects such as; Pocket Theatre Company's staged reading of "America's Next Top Ultimate Supreme Goddess, Game Creek (The Tank NYC), and Serials (The Tank).

Currently in her free time, Zara can be found; reading plays, works of non-fiction, and memoirs, - attending some kind of show, rearranging her furniture, indoor-gardening, cooking without a recipe, or rehearsing with her punk rock project, Pizza King Girl! Her favorite colors are yellow and red.
